How to adjust the discharge opening of the stone jaw crusher?

     For stone jaw crusher, with the constant wear and tear of the tooth plate, the opening of discharge gradually becomes larger, which gets the outputs continually coarser and coarser. So the discharge opening needs to be adjusted periodically in order to get qualified output size.

   The method of adjusting the discharge opening mainly are two as below,

   1. Wedge Adjustment

To adjust two wedges which are between the back thrust plate seat and the main frame, which is suitable for small crusher.

   2. Gasket Regulation

Put a set of gaskets between the rear of the back thrust plate bearing seat and the back rack of the main frame, to increase or decrease the number of gaskets or change their thickness needed to achieve the purpose of regulating discharge mouth. This method has a reliable regulation that suits large and medium jaw crusher.
