100tph sand and gravel production line has 4 types of discharge, jaw crusher and cone crusher model selection

For a 100tph sand and gravel production line, 4 types of particle sizes are required, and a two-stage crushing + screening process is usually used. The following are detailed equipment selection and production line configuration suggestions:

1. Production line process design

Primary crushing: coarse crushing, using a jaw crusher to crush the raw materials to a medium particle size (usually 100-200mm).

Secondary crushing: medium and fine crushing, using a cone crusher to further crush the material to the required particle size (usually 20-40mm).

Screening: Using a vibrating screen to screen the crushed material into 4 different particle sizes.

2. Equipment selection

(1) Jaw crusher (coarse crushing)

Recommended model: PE-600×900

Feed size: ≤500mm

Discharge size: 65-160mm (adjustable)

Processing capacity: 50-160tph

Motor power: 75kW

Features:

Simple structure and stable operation.

Suitable for high hardness materials (such as river stones, granite, etc.).

As a primary crushing equipment, it provides uniform feed for cone crusher.

(2) Cone crusher (medium and fine crushing)

Recommended model: PYB1750 or HPT300

Feed size: ≤230mm (matching the jaw crusher discharge)

Discharge size: 10-40mm (adjustable)

Processing capacity: 100-150tph

Motor power: 160-250kW

Features:

Suitable for medium and high hardness materials, high crushing efficiency.

The finished product has good particle shape and low needle-like content.

Stable operation and low maintenance cost.

(3) Vibrating screen (screening)

Recommended model: 3YK2160 or 4YK2160

Number of screening layers: 3 or 4 (select according to the discharge particle size requirements)

Screening capacity: 100-150tph

Motor power: 15-30kW

Features:

Multi-layer screen design, can screen out 4 different particle sizes at the same time.

High screening efficiency and stable operation.

3. Production line configuration

(1) Equipment list

Jaw crusher: PE-600×900 (1 unit)

Cone crusher: PYB1750 or HPT300 (1 unit)

Vibrating screen: 3YK2160 or 4YK2160 (1 unit)

Belt conveyor: Several (designed according to the site)

Dust removal equipment: 1 set (configured according to environmental protection requirements)

Electronic control system: 1 set

(2) Process flow

Raw material feeding: River stones and other raw materials are evenly fed into the jaw crusher through the feeder.

Primary crushing: The jaw crusher crushes the raw materials to 100-200mm.

Secondary crushing: The cone crusher further crushes the materials to 10-40mm.

Screening: The vibrating screen screens the materials into 4 particle sizes (such as 0-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-20mm, 20-40mm).

Finished product storage: The screened materials are transported to the finished product pile by belt conveyors.

4. Adjustment of discharging particle size

Vibrating screen mesh configuration:

Upper screen: 40mm (screening out 20-40mm particle size).

Middle screen: 20mm (screening out 10-20mm particle size).

Lower screen: 10mm (screening out 5-10mm particle size).

Bottom screen: 5mm (screening out 0-5mm particle size).

Cone crusher discharging adjustment:

By adjusting the discharge port of the cone crusher, the discharging particle size is controlled within the range of 10-40mm.

 

5. Advantages of the production line

Good finished product quality: The finished particle shape of the cone crusher is excellent, the needle-like content is low, and it is suitable for building aggregates.
