The Structure and Working Principle of the Spiral Classifier
The spiral classifier is one of the common and key equipment in flotation separating process. We should know about its structure and working principles well before use it.
1. After the turning of helicoids, begin to fill the ore pulp and gradually increase the amount of the ore.
2. When the helicoids is in working conditions, if it appears the special failure, such as getting stuck, overload and must stop working at once, it is better to elevate the helicoids from the ore pulp. Leaving the helicoids in the ore pulp is forbidden. At the same time, open the ore valve immediately, avoiding siltation.
3. As the machine begins to work again, the helicoids must be down to a certain position first, and then can be turned.
4. If it is necessary to stop the spiral classifier in its using processing, the material feeding should be stopped first, and then after finishing the material classification and no material in the machine, the spiral classifier can be stopped.
